So I’ve been secretly hoping and wishing OBT would feature this little wonder. Seriously it is THEBOMB.COM/THEBEST.net…I’m not kidding. Aside from the company having an awesome story and the product being a great buy, organic and all that jazz, I actually LOVE this product. The soap has a milky consistency and it leaves your skin perfectly moisturized and cleansed. Honestly I don’t know someone wouldn’t buy it!!

  • Please note that this company (SheaMoisture of the Sundial Brands) is currently under investigation for not complying with organic standards. In Nov. 2011, there were several companies who were using non-organic ingredients in their so-called organic products or they did not meet the 70% organic standard. My new bar of their baby eczema organic raw shea butter soap has a very strong, chemical smell and I am questioning the ingredients. Also it says with Frankinsence and Myrrh on the front cover but yet those ingredients are not listed in the back under the ingredient list. This soap is suspect.

Hi Natalie! We just wanted to let you know that SheaMoisture took the time to clarify your comment. Let us or SM know if you have questions about any of their products. Thanks!

  • A Facebook person let us know about Natalie’s post and we want to clarify. There is no investigation, so this is completely incorrect. A non-profit in California named many companies in a suit about organic labeling standards based on a California law, which requires companies to not use the word “ORGANIC” in the name of the company or product name if the product contains under 70% organic material. Although there are no FDA standards on organic labeling or any regulatory body at this time for personal care products, we’ve been in the process of re-labeling all our products since before the suit. Regarding the fragrance, it contains vanilla extract and chamomile. Also, want to mention that non-organic doesn’t mean chemical. Please let us know if you have more questions–we’re happy to answer them.

  • i was wondering what effects does the brightening have on your skin in the sunlight. My first time using this product i instantly saw my skin brighten is that normal? are there any serious side effects to using this particular soap that aren’t listed? I REALLY WANT TO KNOW PLEASE!!!! Thank you: )

  • Omg, AT LASSSSSSSSTTTTT MY LOOOVVVEEEEEE HAS COME ALONG! You will seriously love this soap from the moment you unwrap it to the moment you put it on your skin. I’m a girl that’s always always pushing carts in and taking out groceries, men are lazy, so tobe able to use a soap that actually can care for my skin when i don’t have the time…it’s nice. My skin shouldn’t have to suffer. This soap honestly makes a difference when you use it…RELIGIOUSLY. lol :) Give it two weeks and you’ll notice change. I could sell this stuff..whhhaaaaaa :)
