Inspired by Lucky Mag & Eva Mendes
The look I am recreating today is Eva Mendes on the October 2013 cover of Lucky Magazine. This look is sultry and slightly smokey which is wearable for the daytime and also perfect for a night out. It calls for a contoured cheek and a nice and natural bronze glow. I used the new Buruti Bronzer from RMS Beauty for the first time and it worked perfectly as both a contour and all-over bronzer. Light lips and black liner are the other standouts for this look.
For The Face:
I applied a tinted moisturizer all over my face for light coverage and then focused on contouring with RMS Beauty’s new Buruti Bronzer. I used my middle finger in tapping motions spreading the creamy bronzer to my cheek bones, temples, hair, and jawline. I also added some of the bronzer to the apples of my cheeks as well as a small amount of RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek in Smile.
For The Eyes:
I actually used the Buruti Bronzer on my eyes as a base which not only made my eyeshadow last longer but it also added great natural depth. I blended the bronzer up to the crease, then applied a light wash of Charmed (a light beige eyeshadow color) all over my lids, and lastly lined my eyes with Alima Pure’s Black Eye Liner which for me stays put all day! I also used two coats of non-toxic black mascara.
For The Lips:
I applied this muted pink color to my lips after prepping with some lip balm. This color is perfect for a subtle smokey-eye because it adds just the slightest bit of sheer pink to the lips.
