As soon as I saw HollyBeth’s Grits & Honey Scrub, I wanted it! I’ve eaten grits for breakfast and even had it with served for dinner under blackened fish (hmmm), but never in a beauty product for my face. Could I be experiencing a little southern comfort food on my skin for the very first time?!! Inspired by the traditional breakfast foods of HollyBeth’s native South and her mother, this natural facial scrub gently renews skin by buffing dead skin and pollutants with organic corn meal while the honey moisturizes it. The scent is fresh and sweet and smells irresistible to eat. Yes, I admit it…I licked my lips and tasted the scrub…I did say it smelled irresistible! I also tried it on both wet and dry skin and it should definitely be used on wet skin, even with the honey consistency. I found the consistency to have a little separation on my finger tips but once on the face, it starts to be more uniform and spread well. My skin looks radiant, smooth, and soft. HollyBeth’s Grits & Honey Face Scrub is the perfect blend of luxury and down-home goodness!
